MY GOD is the calm during the storm not KATC

Hurrican ike is here...Another Hurricane....Thank God the season is coming to an end. God is so awesome. Through Hurricane Gustov our trailor didn't get anything. Our home didn't have power for a couple of days but as soon as we got home the power came back on. How gracious is our God. To know exactly what we need when we need it. Through the first few days of our baby Lyla Grace 's birth everything happened according to God's own design. Do you know that the Path of God is always better than our own. From the moment Bec went into labor and the moment we walked into our home after Gustov. Gods Path was being orchestrated without me having to do anything. But you know us we always want to try to do it ourselves. Especially when it pertains to something very close to us. Like your new baby girl. But God knows just how to keep you distracted so he can do what he wants. So while God had his plan moving I was focusing on Bec and the birth of my 7lbs 7ounces baby girl. And he moved everything in the right direction. We got out of the hospital within 24 hrs of her having the baby so that they wouldn't discharge her on Monday morning right before the hurricane would hit. Then as soon as we got home from BR our home had power when some parts of Abbeville didn't even have any yet. So in all that has happened God still provides. Now we going through hurricane ike and I expect God to do the same thing even though ike is going to hit us harder than gustov did. He is faithful. He is faithful. He takes pride in showing how powerful he is. As humans we tend to not trust God in the things he controls. Like this hurricane. Did not God move this hurricane with his winds and his warm gulf. I know it sounds bad that God would do this but he has his reasons and he knows exactly what he is doing. Katc says they are the calm during the storm, well MY GOD is the calm during the storm. He will prevail through anything. If anything let this be an opportunity for us to show off Gods love. His unfailing love. To all those who are losing hope with ike think upon these things.
