Motion Sickness

I'm sitting outside thinking of how waiting on God is so difficult sometimes. Saying you believe and walking out that Faith are two different things. You never know which way the enemy is going to attack. Which means you have to be ready at any time to fight off the attack. Whether it be within your family, relationships, job, or ministry. Drawing closer to God is key in reaching the goals set before you. But when is it time to throw in the towel. How long do you sit in preperation for something big to happen. How long do you wait for that moment to happen. It's like one minute your up and the next your down. It's like motion sickness. You don't know where it comes from but you know you have it. You can't shake it. But what revelation in it. Just like motion sickness what is key to getting a handle on it. Looking up and forward. When your in a car it's looking out the window or looking forward. And look how it applies to life. God asks us to look forward and not back. That he may show us the things to come. For God knows exactly what we need. That statement is so clear. So I can't stop saying it. If we just let him do it then what do we have to worry about. Like I was saying he does not want us looking down. Because in that split second we can lose focus. Looking down at our failures, struggles, problems, and most of all ourselves. Even in pride coming before a fall, looking down can cause us to wreck. But isn't so easy to look down within our lives. And so hard to look at the road ahead. The promises, the dreams, the vision for our lives. Let us look forward more often. Maybe that's the way we face our giants of fear. Did not David act out his faith by looking forward at the promise of God. Father help us to look forward.
